I have some exciting news today and just in time for the Christmas season. I’m launching a range of Wild Heart T-shirts, totes (and more) for women, men and your little ones. They are 100% organic cotton and ethically manufactured, and available in range of designs and colours. I’ve personally designed some of the art work too.

So why Wild Heart organic T-shirts and totes?

Good question. I’ve always wanted this site to be useful. More than a collection of memories and anecdotes; my intention is to share experiences, information, to encourage people of try new things and look for adventure in sailing and travelling.

Through sailing and travelling my awareness of the impact of people on the environment has increased, especially in our oceans. I’ve looked for ways to minimise the use of single use plastic while sailing and at home.

This has made me determined to do more and to give back in some small way to causes that actively help protect the environment. So, I’m working to do this through this latest project of a collection of ethically made, 100% organic cotton T-shirts, hoodies, jumper and tote for men, women and children. Some of the T-shirts are also made from recycled cotton.

How does this help the environment?

Apart from choosing an ethical supplier, ten percent of the profits from the sales will be donated to the Australian Marine Conservation Society, an independent organisation dedicated solely to protecting our precious ocean wildlife.

AMCS works on the big issues that risk our ocean wildlife. Together, we have protected critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef. We have led the movement to ban whaling, stopped supertrawlers, and protected threatened and endangered species like the Australian Sea Lion.

For those of you unfamiliar with Australia, we have the most incredible wildlife, our oceans and coastlines are stunning and full of amazing sea life. Not to mention Australia has one of the largest coral reefs; the Great Barrier Reef which is a World heritage site. Our beaches and oceans need protecting from the ongoing threat of development, mining, pollution and over fishing.
